Distill a mountain of statistics into clear insights, with an entertaining presentation.

Kalkomey is the parent company for Boat-ed and other outdoor-recreation safety-education courses that help citizens meet their state requirements for permitting. They wanted to share information on boating injuries to illustrate just how important safe boating practices are. I was tasked with conveying these somewhat morbid statistics on injuries and fatalities—all specific to paddlesports—in a way that Kalkomey’s audience would find compelling.

My choice was to create this infographic presentation of the stats, some of which were very complex and multifaceted.
